Spices of Life

Interesting topic isn't it?

Actually me and hubby normally alternates the duties of who's going to be the "mom" but depending who experiences it that particular day. Yet in a relationship with or free from kids, either one of you in some instance appears to be the "mommy" without being fully aware of it. Somebody who buys groceries, plans the trip or paying the bills .. in our household, hubby is the one who's "mommying" me I guess.

My husband perpetually drives the car for me, at one time we need to make a complain about something, he was the one who called or talked to the person's concerned. And on certain occasions I feel down, I move slowly to his lap thus he also help me add some songs to my ipod and assist me recording my fave movies and TV shows.

But the real "mommying" time comes at bedtime. He will actually "tell me a story" that easily takes me to lalaland, it's only random stuffs we are talking about but helps me feel relax while I snuggle up to him and embed my face deeply into my pillow.

Let's face it, too often we plainly want some Tender Loving Care so we exchange the "mommy" obligations particularly when somebody becomes ill or not feeling well. He normally tucks me in bed during night time because oftentimes, I'm acting like a bratty baby once I feel so exhausted.

How about you ladies, does your guy "mommies" you day in day out or maybe you are the significant "Mommy" in your marriage life? Share something if we have in common so I would be aware that I am not alone here. Well, I believe Im not :)
