I went to http://www.tvbydirect.com/ to get all the channels I needed because I was tired of being out of the loop. All my girlfriends were always talking about the Bachelor and I didn’t get the channel it was on so I was happy to get caught up on this season’s drama and really get into it like they are.

I know it’s a silly show and I feel like a loser watching it but because I’m single I can really relate to the ways in which some of them are feeling about the Bachelor. The guy this year is kind of nerdy if you ask me – I don’t really understand why anyone would think he’s such a catch – but that’s just what happens when a show’s been on the air as long as this one.

I never would go on a show like this just to try and meet someone to spend my life with – I’m of the school that finding love on a reality show isn’t exactly the way to eternal happiness if you feel me.

The subject of children on the internet always freaks me out just a little bit I will admit. When I think of my sweet little innocent tykes tarnishing their little pure minds with the potentially damaging things on the internet it makes me want to put them in the playroom and feed them those Alice In Wonderland pills that would make them stay small forever.

There I can shelter them and keep them out of harm’s way for the rest of at least my life. The problem is everyone (even me) knows that this is not practical nor is it likely to happen. This is why, most of the elderly citizens who want to stay independent and at the same time enjoy professional care, will choose in home elder care as a compromise.

This is more of a win-win situation, because a compromise would involve a downside, something that in home, elder care programs don't have. The ones who sign up for this service, will have a caring caregiver visiting them at their residence as often as they need, to help them run the daily errands. A guy that I work with has a daughter on a major sitcom. It is pretty funny to see someone you know on your television screen every week. I have only met her one time, but she was extremely nice. My wife and I recently switched from Dish to Direct TV because of some Direct TV Deals. We usually do not watch that much television.

However, I always make it a point to record this particular sitcom because of my friend. Every week we talk about the episode and he gives me some insider info into what type of people the main actors are off-camera or what happened behind the scenes on a given day of shooting. What is so funny is that his daughter plays a hysterical, over-the-top character.

My co-worker is the most mild-mannered man I have ever met. He rarely talks, and he is extremely shy. He keeps to himself most of the time. The one thing that he will talk about all day is his daughter. She is his only child, and it is very obvious that he is very proud of what she has accomplished. He should be. It is very difficult to make it in that business.
