The last time my family went out to eat, we chose Outback restaurant as our destination. As always, we set our Security Choice home security alarm before leaving the house. We have a few Outback restaurants to choose from in Jacksonville, Florida, and I enjoy dinner at all of them.
We usually try and arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. because we have young children. We want to get seated quickly before the kids get too antsy, so this time is ideal. If we have a wait, it's often no more than fifteen minutes. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, but also has a bar where adults can sit, so it's accommodating to most everyone.
Our server was pleasant and prompt. She introduced herself by name and informed us of current specials. We ordered the Bloomin' Onion as an appetizer. As always, it's a good-size dish for a family of five. We also munched on bread spread with delicious butter.
Two of my kids ordered chicken tenders from the children's menu, while our oldest child ordered an adult meal of salmon. My husband enjoyed the ribeye steak, while I ate my usual Victoria's Filet. The food arrived hot and the steaks were tender. Because we have such positive experiences at Outback, it's one of our favorite places to eat with the kids.
