After my very good friend from high school became a mother last year, her quest for a family car started with a search for the 3rd-row seater plus more space for cargo.
She didn't want to settle on the minivan that crossed her path, instead she preferred the Nissan Pathfinder after it passed her taste. Therefore, we had a grand time talking about each other what exactly she was trying to find in a family car.
Whenever you are looking for a 7 seater, gas mileage ratings fall within 5 mpg of each other, that was her initial revelation which I readily learned from her. I was surprised to realize that she really did her homework in researching a new car for her hubby and the newborn.
Aside from that, the Pathfinder enables them to install the car seat safely at the same time, provide grandma her own space. That is the good thing about buying this car, as it comfortably fits all luggage, stroller, portable cribs or even a beach gear.
However, initially, she was inclined to purchase the Chevy Traverse or the Honda Pilot as both provide roomy interiors and score better in styling department once being placed side by side with the Pathfinder. Nevertheless, she finally made her choice and the winner was Pathfinder because of the passenger-friendly interior layout as well as the 3 comfortable row's seating.
Therefore, her dream of driving a Dodge Viper was taken into the back seat over motherhood. I guess it will takes couple of years before her dream in driving a roadster will turn out into reality.
