Patrick Swayze was struggling ill for the past 20 months and now he passed away peacefully in Los Angeles at the age of 57. Patrick Swayze was well known for his lead role in “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost.

In 2008, Swayze was diagnosed with rare disease pancreatic cancer. Knowing that his days were limited, he continued shooting “The Beast” which draws million viewers in 2009. Statically he only had few years to live, some reports states he only had few weeks to live..

On Monday September 14, 2009, Patrick Swayze rest in peace with family at his side.

Many fans and celebrities left messages on how courageous he was, leaving the last word RIP. He was awarded with three Golden Globe nomination and played many other roles in, Red Dawn, The Outsiders, Dirty dancing, “To Wong Foo, and etc.., He was loved by everyone in film industry as well as his fans.

Patrick Swayze was born in Houston in 1952, being interested in dancing and acting were the reasons that brought him to Los Angeles Hollywood. He was also conservationist when he is not filming. He was married to Niemi ever since they met when he was 19 and she was 15. Even being diagnosed with cancer, Patrick never stops acting, hoping to find cure.
