The 1972 photo of Kim Phuc Phan Thai who was 9 year old that time became the most distinguish images of war on that particular time. You can see in the photo below that she was running through the street naked experiencing the pain she got from napalm burns.
Now the Vietnamese girl has turned 46 and currently living in Canada, she spoke of her suffering and experience to the Phoenix Society for burn survivors in her bid to convey the message of hope for burn victims.
Despite the fact that her face remained unmarred, yet the napalm has resulted to a third degree burns on her arms, back while almost 65% of her body was blistered leaving permanent scars and iterate thoughts of pain caused by the unfortunate events.
She feels so lucky that she survived on that occurrence and though she cannot change the fact but at least she can make a big difference.
The controversial shot of Kim Phuc Phan Thai Photo was captured by Nick Ut, a renowned AP photographer which brought him a Pulitzer prize for that photo.
