Nintendo Wii Recall - Are you aware that there is a recall alert for a Nintendo Wii Remote Docking Station? The main distributor of Wii , Griffin International has issued a recall for more than 220k battery packs being sold since the year 2008 following to the reports that the Wii docking station gets excessively hot while charging.

The packs are susceptible to burn people aside from being a fire hazard. So far, there were 6 incidents reported of the device overheating while 2 people have endured burns on their hands. It is essential to have this accessory recalled or unplug it when not in use. If by chance you have purchased a Wii 4-Dock Recharge station from React or Psyclone, you should check the serial numbers RT530 or PSE6501 as the product is currently on recall alert.
