Cash for Clunkers Ending- Cash for Clunkers ends early for the reason that the fund is depleting so fast. The 3 billion dollar government incentive program will end on Monday according to the Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.

The widely popular program grants incentives up to $4,500 to the vehicle owners who wish to recycle their clunkers to a more fuel-efficient cars. It was reported that the said program has perked up the sales of the ailing car market as dealers have sold more than 700 thousand vehicles within a period of one month.
