Amanda Tanen is a member of Stellastarr* which is an alternative indie rock band based in New York and has taken a new wave influenced sound to the audience with their recent released record, Civilization last 7h of July 2009.

As for me, I love the back up vocals of Bassist Amanda Tannen that frost every track on the record. The attractive blonde rocker affords a vocal counterpoint to the wail of Stellastarr* front man, Shawn Christensen.

After listening the tracks from their new album, I just cant get enough of Amanda's captivating melodies that beef up more richness to the instrumental world of each track.

Anyway, for me Civilized is one eclectic rock album with catchy melodies, awesome beats and get-up-on-your-feet-and-dance guitar riffs. Surely, you will be assured to have a great time listening to their album all over again.
