Mortgage Apple Cakes - There is always a truth to the saying that goes " Adversity does indeed breed creativity" , that's what truly happened to a divorced mom of 3 Angela Logan from Teaneck, NJ. Apparently she was falling behind on her mortgage payment just like most Americans these days whom like her were been hardly hit by massive laid-off and mortgage difficulties.
She was facing a serious debt caused by a contractor who overcharged for the work done on her home and a looming foreclosure. So she came up with an idea in trying to bake her grandma's scrumptious apple cake made of organic ingredients and selling them at $40/cake.
Her idea was a big hit, what started out in her tiny kitchen with a number of small orders is now raking orders for 500 or more a day after a newspapers started publishing her inspiring story. Therefore, there's no way she can bake the cakes for herself, fortunately a founder of Bake me a Wish foundation, Josh Kaye lend a helping hand by letting his kitchens to take over the baking process for Logan.
The result, her supposedly home foreclosure was avoided as she was able to re-negotiate her mortgage monthly payments and since her business is raving success, she has created a website dedicated for her "Mortgage Apple Cakes" with a catchword: Fighting Foreclosures, one cake at a time". What an inspiring story indeed.

How inspiring! It's great hearing stories like these because it really uplifts us. It brings hope especially to those who have been suffering the worst, that with hard work we will all be able to weather this recession. What makes this even more inspiring is that she got others to participate in the process as well.
