Spices of Life

{ Living Life by Ear }

Last weekend, I was so exhausted playing Wii for the very first time at my MIL's place. And I have to confess that it was totally interesting at the same time entertaining.

Im not actually a fan in playing video games, but this time I had so much fun. Honestly, I am not a person who is into video games that much, but this was incredibly fun. Everyone got hooked up on it and the whole family had a real a blast.

While playing the Wii, it hardly gives you the possibility to sit down and to think that I was all sweating the very first time I played with it while next morning my right hand feels sore! Even before the Wii, my nephew has also the Xbox360 and Nintendo but I guess the Wii has dominated the scene for now..

And for this reason, I told my husband in discreet that I want a Nintendo Wii for Mother's Day. Actually, for the past years I was asking sporadically for a new toy like the Xbox360 .

Yet, we were not planning to invest our money in a costly activity that had nothing important we can get but a negative aspect - like children seated in front of the TV with tired eyes, assaulting characters in the virtual world. That was the thing we noticed in each home we visited where the kids played games and encouraging the termination of another person.

But everything changed last week after we visited my in-law who'd lately purchased a Wii for the kids to play. We and our cousins played the entire afternoon playing tennis and bowling, showing pleasure and happiness the whole day and just halted once we need a break and just wanted to drink some water.

However, hubby picked up a new Wii after he went to the mall earlier today, I got a surprised from hubby as I found a new Wii of our own.

So my love for tennis sports was being rekindled once again as it's one of the great games in staying fit this hot months of summer. If you are anything like me, you will get into the games and find out that you are soon jumping around like a pro tennis player.

As hubby is experiencing a little bit of sports in playing the video for Mario Kart. I guess it’s addictive. He got this idea after he saw the commercial with steering wheel while the person playing with it.

Funny thing because he never tried to play racing games using a handheld design or even used a controller, at least, you must know how to incline or bend it no matter which way you wanted your car to move.

Fascinating to note is that, even though he lost the game, Nintendo has taught him pretty much everything. He's an occasional gamer because he loves gaming once in a while. He's having fun with this wireless Steering Wheel. The game and the controller get a huge “thumbs around” from him… which is far better than a thumbs up.

So when we'll be traveling next month, I guess a Nintendo DS Lite will be ideal to bring while playing inside the car. At any rate… I was determined to commit myself to learn if it is really fun as what others are saying. Indeed… it is a ton of fun, only if you dont lose. I guess, a Wii Fit will be on the list for my next purchase as we already have the Wii console to support it.
