More vendors noticed the gain in sales of masks as lot of people are taking precaution from the swine flu. But wearing mask are not reliable particularly in areas where outbreaks have been confirmed.
Millions of masks have been widely spread in Mexico city to assist in controlling the widespread of Swine flu. These actions are being taken seriously by just watching video and images of the common people wearing masks.

The WHO is currently not recommending the use of face masks. There is no indication that they work to prevent the flu. And they may make people complacent about handwashing, which does work.
Those masks, though, are hysterical. I predict that there will be designer masks popping up in stores around the world.
Dito sa Japan,common ang mag wear ng face mask lalo na kung may sakit ka at palaging naka-harap sa maraming tao to prevent other people from spreading viruses.I have heard from other countries na ayaw nilang mag wear ng mask kasi parang hirap huminga,disturbing lalo na if they're wearing their make-ups on.
Yap,meron din ganyang face masks dito,may beads decorations pa yung iba lol!

Ang cute lang ng mga designs nila but they don't really help. Well, it's only my opinion.

I don't think if wearing a mask will prevent the flu from spreading I think washing the hands all the time will stop spreading the virus. Huwag lang masyadong expose sa mga maraming tao if possible stay muna sa bahay.
