Spices of Life

Have you heard about the troubling study results regarding poisonous substance found in cosmetics? The outcome was been published by Environmental Working Group who generally searched the toxins were detected within the bodies of adolescent girls who often apply cosmetics.

The said chemicals have been related to life-threatening health concerns like hormone interruption and cancer.

However, they found 2 kinds of parabens in each girl being tested specifically the propylparaben and methylparaben. To those who are not familiar with the meaning of parabens, they are known as synthetic chemicals often used as preservatives that are being added in cosmetics.

The report discovered that more teenage girls apply personalized care products compared to grownup females. Many adolescents unwittingly exhibiting themselves to highest levels of toxins from using cosmetics simultaneously in a situation that their bodies are quickly varying and yielding readily to damage.

Equally as a mother, it's the reality that our kids are exposing themselves to a quantity of synthetic chemicals everyday, where numerous of them have never undergo a test for safety.
So what is the solution? Don't allow your teens to use make-up? I am certain that a lot of Mommies have a teeny girls that are at any rate ten years off from the period when they will shift their own faux make up kit to the actual stuff yet teens who adore their care products, permitting or forbidding them to use those would still spell misfortune.

So if she must apply her makeup, leastwise you'll be aware that the thing she is wearing on her face wont harm her deep down.

I always wondered what harm cosmetics do to the face of the young. I never used make up except Avon lipstick, I hope this is not dangerous. Thank you for coming by, have a great week.

Hi Mommy Umz, you know what kaya tayong mga pinoy compare to another race looks young in our age is because we don't use make-up when we are young. I don't know this new generation but in my time my mom only allow me to put Johnson powder hehe. Ngayon specially the teens or kid here in US jeez they are so expose to different make-up and for sure the chemicals ruin their young skin in an early age.

I've heard about hormones in makeup affecting people when they use them young. It's definitely something we need to think about.

Nah, may nalang jud nga d ko kaya magpalit , d pud ko gamit kay mabayot man ko kung mag butang..way angay...waaa...lipstick ra tawon ug johnson baby powder pa jud...LOL.

Wow, good thing I very seldom use make-up. I have learned to live without putting on make-up. It doesn't do a very good job of hiding my acnes anyway (it worsens the acne, in fact)
